Professor Liz Fies: Disney Princesses Reimagined as Different Ethnicities

About Me

This semester I am a professor in the Cinema Department at LACC in Los Angeles, and have been a professor in the Media Arts Department at LAVC in Sherman Oaks.

I received the first online masters degree in Media Studies from New School University, the oldest media program in the US. At UCLA I earned my BA and a Graduate Certificate in Screenwriting. I've written/directed three features, and been a producer on a feature film that had a theatrical release and won a Spirit Award.

My passions include binge-watching TV & movies, comic books, novels, great conversation, online education, equality and representation, Twin Peaks, and shooting feature films with my sister.
